Alan Pargeter

Sad news has reached us of the passing of Club Stalwart and life Member Alan Pargeter. Alan died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Alan was involved in the setting up of the bar in the 1980s and for many years he was involved in the smooth running of functions as well as cashing up, cleaning lines, meeting brewery drays and stocking up… as well as other jobs too numerous to mention.

He was great character and will be missed. He always had a word for anyone when stood in his beloved garden

Alan’s funeral is at Nab Wood next Wednesday 8 July at 12.40. Close family only inside however friends can gather outside to listen to the service.
